What is pharmaceutical compounding?
Pharmaceutical compounding allows for your medical provider to offer specialized treatment. At Emerald Coast Compounding Pharmacy (ECCP) we can formulate your prescriptions to meet your individual needs. We individually customize medications into different strengths and dosage forms, allowing for better absorption by your body, and minimizing side effects. We also offer compounding of discontinued drugs, such as Midrin which is used for headaches. This is just one of the many formulations currently compounded at Emerald Coast Compounding Pharmacy.

Meet the Pharmacist, Regina Jaquess, PharmD
I believe there should be a connection between the patient, their physician, and their pharmacist when it comes to healthcare. At ECCP, we strive to develop a comprehensive plan to improve each patient’s overall health and quality of life.

My awareness of the need for quality healthcare that can be customized to individual patients was developed over my career as a competitive water skier.

I am a ten-time World Champion skier and hold World Records in both slalom and overall. Competing at a world-class level provided the opportunity to train under the auspices of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and to spend time at the USOC training center in Colorado Springs. These experiences encouraged my interest in sports medicine. I still compete on a professional level and am a member of the USA Water Ski team.

The dedication that I give to the sport of water skiing was replicated in the pursuit of my education and my career as a compounding pharmacist. I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2009, and then enhanced my education with post-graduate training in pharmaceutical compounding, which is my passion.

For the past 17 years, I have made Santa Rosa Beach my home. Beginning in 2009, I worked in local retail and hospitals pharmacies as an intern pharmacist and then as a pharmacist. At ECCP, my team and I strive every day to meet the needs of our customers and to provide the level of service that they have come to expect.
